Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Here is a compendium of questions that many people have asked us in various forms. It is our hope that your questions are answered here.
Who are you? We are a small group of people dedicated to loving God and his Son, Jesus, on a level that very few people in history have ever been able to accomplish. We go about doing this by following all of his commands, including forsaking all, loving all people, turning the other cheek, spreading the gospel, being born again, and living together, in what might be classified as communalism. This radical lifestyle is our way of showing our appreciation and willingness to do whatever it takes to get humanity back together with God.
Why is this website called 'The Kingdom of Heaven?' Christ often spoke parabolically, as a way to hide the truth from the ungodly and entice the faithful with this hidden knowledge. A phrase that he used in the vast majority of parables was 'the kingdom of heaven.' In the kingdom of heaven there are no sinners, the beggars are wealthy, and the rich are eternally poor. In the kingdom humanity is allowed to be as it was always intended: like children, with God as their Father, teaching them and taking them to wonders beyond the farthest reaches of our imagination. On this website, we hope we can share with you the true gospel of the kingdom of heaven, as Jesus preached it.
What's supposed to be here, anyway? To be brief, it is a collection of the recorded sayings, deeds, and revelations of Jesus the Christ, uninterpretedand and unfiltered by religious dogma and political agendas. No church or religious institution has ordained this site to be holy or dedicated to the Lord, and it is our hope that things stay that way.
So you believe in Jesus, then? Our faith goes much further than a simple confession of one's personal belief. To us, faith is a reflection of the Holy Spirit working within us, that indwelling of Almighty God that has been offered to every human, but so very few have accepted. Our deeds represent our faith in all that we do; such an idea may seem scary and cult-like to others, but to us, the members of Jesus' Church, the scariest thing is that our devotion to the Creator is deemed creepy.
Do you believe in God? Once again, our faith goes much further than belief, but if it comforts you, then yes, we do believe in God, perhaps not as you know him, but as Jesus did. He is called the Father, and is the maker of the world and all mankind. We believe that Christ used the term 'Father' with purpose; that is, the term was used as a way for us to understand God's relationship with us in a parabolic way. This may transition into your next question.
Do you believe in the Trinity? The Trinity is a contested issue, and one on which many diverse opionions are allowed; some of us are Trinitarians—people who believe in the Trinity's absolute existence. Some of us are Unitarians and Arians—believers in the singleness of God, and cite multiple passages of the Bible to support this. Others are neutral on the subject, and state that it is entirely inconsequential to our salvation, as nowhere in the Scriptures is the idea absolutely confirmed or denied. Our current position on the Trinity is just that.
Are you Christians? We identify as disciples, apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers: priests one and all, subservient and having been ordained by Jesus Christ, High Priest, and our Savior. We attempt to fulfill Christ's Great Commission, and do the work that has been assigned for us by his divine command. This will likely be explained further in several spiritually-helpful article published for free on this site.
Do you believe in the Bible? Jesus and the original apostles quoted the Hebrew Scriptures extensively during their lifetimes. As such, we draw inspiration and spiritual sustenance from what is now considered the Old and New Testaments, as well as a few other choice texts deemed apocryphal or uncanonical in nature. Our shared love of all these inspired works should not be mistaken for idolatry or book-following, however. Our conviction of the true will of the Father is found only in the words of Jesus, the Son of God.

Where can I attend one of your meetings? Unfortunately, we do not hold formal meetings like church services or worship hours on any day of the week. We worship God and do his will 24/7/365; meaning every hour of the day, every day of the week, every day of the year, eternally.
